  • ASEAN Manufacturing Forum Garnered Huge Interest in Thailand’s Growing Industries

ASEAN Manufacturing Forum on 8th March at Raffles Hotel, Singapore concluded amidst praise and interest from the industrial community in Singapore. The forum aimed to introduce business opportunities after the flood to the technology and machinery providers in Singapore, as well as to invite them to be a part of “Manufacturing Expo 2012” which will be organized during 21-24 June at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

The forum was honored by presence of high-profile and respectable guest speakers from both the public and private agencies in Thailand who gave talks on most concerned topics such as “Surviving the Disaster: How New Machines Help Industrial Parts Makers Sustain & Expand Business,” “The Sharp Rise of Order. When Metalworking Technology Demands Overflow Suppliers,” “Ready for the next level? Use the opportunity to invest in the future of automotive manufacturing,” and “The Big Picture: Auto & Electronics Investment Projects After Floods.” The business delegates enjoyed the robust panel discussion as well as having gained much more insights into the current economic and industrial condition in Thailand which assured them of the business opportunities to be had. It thus augmented the great beginning of a series of activities to follow this year by Reed Tradex to support the growth and recovery of manufacturing and supporting industries in Thailand and ASEAN.
