TIC FOR DIE INSERT

TiC coating is one fo CVD process material. It has very high hardness (3800 HV) with 8 micron thickness. TiC is well known in automotive stamping parts manufacturer for decades. We can advise how to prepare the tools before sending to TiC. This special coating need special preparation such as typical steel, dimension distortion, pre and post treatment. All the critical factor to get great benefit of TiC coating we can support to the customer. • High hardness 3800 HV • Strong enough to forming bending thick high strength steel sheet • With the thickness 0.008 mm. no rust will occur • Suitable for deep draw, bending, forging, rolling die that the other coating cannot withstand the heavy load
